Last wensday my dad left.The next day.I woke up crying.Then I remembered my dad used to make me say"I'm a winner!I'm a winner about 5 times louder and louder.So I did that.and then I didn't cry any more.After that the rest of the day was asome.
This is one of your best posts ever. I think it'll make dad happy that even when he is away you still do the things he taught you. and, You ARE a winner. don't you forget it.
I bet you really miss your dad. It's hard when he's away a lot. But you're so brave to be tough and help take care of the family while he's gone. You're such a good big brother.
We miss you, and hope sometime this summer your family can come visit us in Boise.
